My Most Recent Empties

Happy Monday Everyone!

This is one of my most favorite series on the blog to to talk about because this just proves that I actually use and LOVE the products I talk about SO MUCH!

My Most Recent Empties are the products that I have most recently run out of AND will be purchasing again because of how much I love the products and brands.

SO LET’S GET STARTED!

Skincare

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

So I threw away the empty bottle 3 days ago and literally sprinted to the store to get a new one because I cannot live without this stuff.

So everyday you take off your makeup, but sometimes it feels like your skin isn’t as clean as it can be. WELL this Micellar Cleansing Water is exactly what you need! All I do is put some on a round cotton pad and put it all over my face. You guys, you will be SURPRISED at the amount that your cleanser doesn’t catch when you wash  your face.

This stuff is also amazing for removing eye makeup super easily.

I also use it in the morning after cleansing as well! (or sometimes alone when I’m too lazy and tired to actually wash my face).

Tula Resurfacing Gel

A couple of months ago, I purchased the Discovery Kit from Tula Skincare and this product, along with the Hydrating Day & Night Cream quickly became my favorites of the bunch. I use these two every single day and I have seen a difference in my skin because of them!

MAKEUP

Steve Laurant Lip Gloss in Cafe

I love me a good lippy. Whether that is a gloss, stain, liquid lip, or a simple lipstick. & I love finding my ride or die’s and this is 100% my ride-or-die nude lipgloss. I got it in an Ipsy bag a while ago and it has stood the test of Anna trying every lippy on the planet haha. It has a tint but still makes your lips look natural and it goes on so smoothly without being too sticky!

Maelle Above & Beyond Mascara

Every person that has tried it has fallen in love with it and I am constantly getting compliments on my lashes. THE BEST PART: it is $8 with code ANNA10. You will thank me later, I promise.

I LOVE peachy blushes, and after almost a year after getting the sample size in an Ipsy bag, I have finally completely run out of it and need to buy myself the full-sized one. It just stays on so well all day and pairs really well with my skin-tone!

Maelle Secret Illuminator

This Secret Illuminator is my SAVIOR when it comes to covering and/or brightening anything on my face. It is the perfect brightener for under my eyes and I use it every single day. If I don’t feel like wearing a full face of makeup, I apply it to where I need to conceal and I apply it under my eyes and I am set for the day! You can get this for $12 with code ANNA10!

Morphe Continuos Setting Mist

I always talk about this stuff, but it’s because it is worth talking about! I never knew the importance of setting spray until I used this guy. It just melts your makeup look perfectly together and also makes your makeup budge-proof for the WHOLE DAY.

HAIR

Redken Finishing Spray

I don’t usually talk about my hair, but I have been getting requests to start and this product has been my holy grail finsihing spray for a while now. Whether I curl my hair, straighten it, or leave it natural, I always spray this in it because it leaves it bouncy and voluminous. It also doesn’t get sticky or leave your skin feeling like straw (if you know hat I mean). It gives it this healthy shine while keeping it in place in a very natural looking way!

Well, that’s all I’ve got for you! Let me know if you have any questions, comments, and especially if you try any of these products out!

Stay curious & kind,

My Recent “Empties”

So a lot of people review their “favorites” and I also do that! But I think actually going through a WHOLE product speaks wonders. To me it means that it really is worth getting and using since I used the whole thing until it was empty! So I figured I’d share my recent “empties” with you! If you have any more questions that I don’t answer, then please let me know! I LOVE TALKING TO YOU GUYS!! That’s my favorite part about this whole blogging process!

Plus! The holidays are coming up, so maybe these products could be a good gift as well!

LET’S BEGIN!

Click on the name of the products to go to the website!

  1. Morphe Continuous Setting Mist ($15)

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_ad

THIS STUFF IS MAKEUP CANDY! I can’t get enough of it. George got this for me when I mentioned seeing it in a Jaclyn Hill video about two months ago and I already have two empties! I have never used a better setting spray that seriously makes me feel comfortable wearing a full face of makeup all day. I usually spray it on twice. Once, let it dry, then again and I get going. This is probably my favorite empty out of all of these that I’ll talk about!

If you have any makeup lovers (or you are yourself) BUY THIS! IT’S AMAZING!

2. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara ($25)UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_b4

I think that I have purchased about 4 of these since they announced this mascara a couple of years ago. I will be honest and say that this is my SECOND favorite mascara of all time (following Better Than Sex by Two Faced). I usually use those two together. But if you’re looking for a very natural look, using this alone is KEY. It lengthens and seperates perfectly and it’s perfect for days that you don’t want to wear a lot of makeup.

3. Nomad Highlight in Midnight Sun ($17) <— Full product, not this small vvv

I got this mini sample size in an Ipsy bag a couple of months ago! I think it was 4 or 5 months ago that I got it and it has lasted me this long! You use so little and it really makes an impact! I’m using the Morphe Mini Highligher ($7) in Spark (which I also got from Ipsy) right now, and I would honestly say that I like the Morphe one more, but up until I started using the Morphe, this was my go-to highlight!

4. Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Eyeshadow Primer ($24)

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_b1

I will be completely honest. I don’t use eyeshadow primer everyday. Probably like once a week when I do a BIG eyeshadow look. Eyeshadow primer definetly works wonders, but sometimes I’m just too lazy. That being said, I think I had this primer for about a year and a half. The smallest amount goes a long way and it really does keep the shadow from creasing and it stays in place!

5. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Powder ($24)UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_b3

So I have 1. super dry skin 2. anal about my makeup creasing 3. hate flashback in pictures. & this product helped with all of those problems! It makes your pores so much less visable and I just feel comfortable and light wearing it!

7. Jersey Shore Balm in Peppermint ($10)UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_b2

So! I am pretty high strung with moisturizing my lips! Especially in the winter! I have had two of these lip balms. This one and one in lavender. THE BEST PART!: They’re made with essential oils! I use this one in the morning, I use the lavender before bed and I use my Kopari Lip Glossy during the day! This peppermint one just wakes me up and I don’t usually have to worry about moisturizing my lips until about 1 pm when I apply it around 6 a.m.!

6. Marios Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel ($14) <— for 8 fl oz, not 2!UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_b7

I am ALWAYS on the hunt for good skincare since I battle with pretty annoying adult acne. This has been a product I have been using since one of my college roommates, Jeslyn, used it! And I have loved it ever since! I usually use it as a second cleanser. So I usually use my Philosphy Microdilivery Exfoliating Face Wash ($28) (<– but tends to be on sale at Ulta) first, and then use this second, and my face feels AMAZING! I had this for about 5 months and this was only the 2 oz bottle!

6. S factor Sily Smooth Moisture Serum ($23.50)

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_ac

You guys!!!!! THIS. STUFF. SAVED. MY. HAIR. AND!!!! It lasted me over two years!!! This is my secret to dying my hair since I was 16 and having healthy hair. Nowadays, I’ll be honest, my hair is a lot more dry since I started using bleach to get lighter, BUT before that, it was healthy and strong for 5 years! I highly recommend. I just put a pump all over my hair and ends and it works wonders!! This brand in general has been amazing for my hair.

7. Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream ($84) UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_ae

Okay. So. I know this is pretty pricey, but here me out. I had this fragrance for 5 years. Literally one spray at the beginning of each day, and I got complements allll day. If you want to invest in a very fresh-scented fragrance, then I highly recommend.

Right now, I am using Acqua di Gioia  and that is also a very fresh-scented perfume!

Those are all of my empties! I hope this helped with ideas!
